The San Xavier Indian Reservation is an Indian reservation from Tohono O'odham Nation located near Tucson, Arizona, in the Sonoran Desert. The San Xavier Reservation is located in the southwest part of Tucson's metropolitan area and consists of 111.543 sq mi (288,895Ã, kmÃ,ò) of land area, about 2.5 percent of Tohono O'odham Nation. It has a 2,000 population population of 2,053 people, or 19 percent of the Tohono O'odham population.

Missions
Reservation is home to the Spanish mission, Mission San Xavier del Bac, built between 1783 and 1797. It is a National Historic Landmark, and has been used continuously for over 200 years. Built by Tohono O'odham workers.

The tribe also operates three casinos, two of which are in the San Xavier reservation section. The casino facility, known as Desert Diamond and Golden Ha:? AÃÆ' à ± , features slot machines, table games, blackjack videos and other forms of gambling. There is also a buffet. The facility also features a theater for live entertainment.
