Station layout
Platforms 1 and 2 share the same island platform. Space is provided for the East Kowloon Line platform when the station was built in the 1970s. This can be seen behind the ad panel for each platform. Space for a backed up platform is little more than a rock formation that does not veer behind the ad panel. The station will also be a station in Sha Tin proposed to Central Link (with a new island platform).
