The San Francisco Bowl is an NCAA certified post-season college football game game that has been played every year since 2002. This game was recently sponsored by the Foster Farms poultry company. It was also previously known as the Fight Hunger Bowl in 2013, Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl from 2010 to 2012 due to its sponsorship by Kraft Foods, as Emerald Bowl from 2004 to 2009, and as the Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl from 2002 to 2003, in recognition of the company's title sponsor, Diamond Foods.
From 2002 to 2013, the annual game was played at 40,800 seats AT & T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, in San Francisco, California. Starting in 2014, it has been played at Levi's Stadium, the headquarters of the San Francisco 49ers, in Santa Clara, California.

Histori
Plans for the initial San Francisco Bowl 2002 were established on December 2, 2002 when the Air Force Academy football program received an offer to play against an undetermined team from the Big East Conference. Their initial sponsors were Diamond Foods, a walnut producer and other beans branded under the Emerald brand name that resulted in the naming of this bowl as the Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl and then the Emerald Bowl.
In 2010, Kraft Foods sponsored the bowl and announced a new name, which the company launched as part of a broader hunger relief program. According to Sports Illustrated , executive director bowl, Gary Cavalli, paid $ 377.475 in 2009 salary. Mondel? Z International continues to support games and programs related to Feeding America in 2013.
In August 2014, the bowl's official website listed the game name as San Francisco Bowl once again. However, on November 11, 2014, it was announced that the San Francisco Bowl Game Association has reached a multi-year naming rights agreement with the Northern California-based Foster Farms poultry company, naming its current bowl.
On July 12, 2016, the NFL team of the San Francisco 49ers announced that it has taken over the management of Foster Farms Bowl of the San Francisco Bowl Game Association, and also announced a new four-year rights deal with Fox Sports (replacing ESPN).

Configure columns
Because AT & amp; T Park is usually not used for football, the field setting requires both teams to be on the same side, separated by a barrier on the 50-yard line. The field flows southwest to the northeast in this configuration, with the southern end zone along the first baseline, and the northern encounter near the left field wall for optimal seating along the third tier, and some temporary whitening spots in the center field.
Matchups
The Fight Hunger Bowl has a contract to host the sixth-ranked Pac-12 team during 2010 to 2013 seasons. There are several contracts that determine the opponent. In 2011, opponents of the Pac-12 team were Illinois, replacing the Army, which did not reach the feasibility of the bowl; in 2012, it is the Navy; and in 2013, it is BYU. If these teams are not eligible for bowl feasibility, they will be replaced by a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) or Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Starting with the 2014 season, the team comes from Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences.
