Careers
Career White as a Neil Diamond award-winning artist began in 1983 at the Salute to the Superstars event at Mr. F's Beef & amp; Bourbon in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He has appeared in the club for five years when a mutual friend sent a message to Legends in Concert producer John Stuart in Las Vegas, NV.
White was offered a seven-week show at the Reno casino, and it went so well he packed up and moved in 1989 to Vegas, where he performed Diamond duties - 50 weeks a year for nine years - at "Legends in Concert" at Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. Jay will be the longest acting in Legends, performing in the hotel for nearly nine years. White is also the first person ever to appear with Legends as a "living" legend (a living musician). After Legends in Concert, Jay went on to perform corporate functions, cruises, and venues as a soloist with live bands.
Jay left appearing as a solo act at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas after a successful run of 8 years (2000 shows). Appearing as a solo headliner tribute in one place, Jay's is the longest acting of its kind in the US.
In 2008, Jay appeared as Neil Diamond in the film directed by Ron Howard Frost/Nixon (the film). In 2011, she appeared as Noah Kaminsky in independent film Beautiful Noise.

Personal life
Jay is also a great hockey goaltender. He has been playing since he was eight years old. His dream is to make it to the NHL one day; the furthest he took a hockey career was a pair of pre-season games with IHL Kalamazoo Wings. White also plays as a reserve scorer for the now dead IHL Las Vegas Thunder, and ECHL Las Vegas Wranglers and Florida Everblades.
