Brooke Ellen Bollea (born May 5, 1988), better known by her stage name Brooke Hogan , is a television star, actress, singer-songwriter, American media personality, and professional wrestler. She is the daughter of the famous professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. Brooke took an early interest in music, and began working on his first studio album in 2002. In an effort to promote his musical career, Hogan and his father appeared in a special hour in VH1. Specifically proved to be a successful ranking, which led to Hogan and his family starring in the reality television series Hogan Knows Best (2005-07). The show then saw a teenager struggling with Brooke's protective father and recording his debut album. The first studio album, Undiscovered , was released in 2006. He also signed a contract with SoBe Entertainment . Storch also became the lead album producer. During the interview, Hogan stated that he was recording an album at The Hit Factory in Miami, Florida, where rapper Paul Wall heard the clip from the song "About Us" and was asked to be on the song.
The main single from the album, "About Us", airs on two season finale Hogan Knows Best . Quickly started receiving heavy radio rotations, and reached number 33 Billboard Hot 100. Undiscovered was released on October 24, 2006 in the United States and Canada. The album debuted at number 28 on Billboard 200, and number 1 on the Independent Album charts in the US, sold about 30,000 copies in its first week of release. The album only sold about 127,000 copies in the United States.
To help promote the album, Hogan appeared in the November 2006 edition of FHM , becoming the first cover model of FHM under 21 years old. As a result, the November edition did not have liquor advertising. Dana Leslie Fields, executive and president of FHM , said: "In a very rare example that you may have a cover star under the age of 21, they do not want to be in a position to market to anyone under age. "
To further promote the album, Hogan announced his second single is "Heaven Baby", which featured Beenie Man on guest vocals. The song was released to pop radio in January 2007. On March 6th, "For A Moment" was released as a promotional single from the album, with a music video featuring third and fourth season clips Hogan Knows Best . The Hogan record label decided the album should be re-released at the end of the year; However, Hogan decided against it, choosing to start working on his second album. It debuted at number 144 on Billboards 200 and 27 on the Independent Albums chart, selling 3,381 copies in its first week. He was released from his four-year contract with SoBe Entertainment a year early after promotion for the album ended. He is now just signed a contract with Fontana Records. To date, he is the only artist to sign a contract with a label. Hogan finished the second season of Brooke Knows Best on August 9, 2009. The event will not return to the air after the second season. Professional wrestling career
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) (2006)
Brooke made her WWE debut on the July 15, 2006 episode of Main Event Saturday Night , appearing with her father. Randy Orton came out and flirted with Brooke then challenged Hulk for the match at SummerSlam. Later in the parking lot after more teasing, Brooke gets into their car and does not realize Orton is going to RKO Hulk. Orton will appear in WWE Raw with a fake Hogan family and kiss Brooke fake.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2012-2013)
On May 17, 2012, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), a wrestling promotion in which his father worked, announced that Brooke had signed a contract to work in promotion as a screen authority figure and backstage consultant to TNA Knockout.
In July 2012, Brooke was confirmed through his official Twitter account, that he continued to write and develop his third studio album. Throughout the middle of 2012, he has performed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), every week on Thursday night to help promote women's wrestling division. On the June 7th episode of Impact Wrestling, a week after Hogan TNA debut, Hogan gave Mickie James, Tara, Velvet Sky and Miss Tessmacher (now turned back to Brooke Tessmacher) a four-way chance to get another chance at the Gail Kim TNA Women's Knockout Championship, won by Miss Tessmacher. In June 2012, Hogan gave Velvet Sky a part that was featured in the Montgomery Gentry music video for their song "So Called Life". On the June 21st episode of Impact Wrestling, Hogan chose James over Sky as the next challenger for the Women's Knockout Championship, but failed to reclaim the title from Miss Tessmacher.
In July, Hulk Hogan, along with Sting, began to be hostile to the mysterious group of masked men, who had dubbed themselves Aces & amp; Eight. The group attack on Hulk Hogan in the July 12th episode Impact Wrestling was used to write Hulk Hogan from the show, as he was about to undergo surgery again. On the August 16, 2012 episode of Impact, Hogan hired Taryn Terrell, as the referee for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship game between Madison Rayne and Miss Tessmacher. In November, Hogan will move into storyline with his father and Bully Ray after Austin Aries reveals a secret relationship between himself and Ray. After seeing them kissing in the parking garage on the December 20th episode of Impact Wrestling, Hulk stops Ray indefinitely on the January 3rd, 2013 episode. The following week, after Ray rescues Hogan from kidnapping by Aces & amp; Eights, Hogan accepted his marriage proposal much to his father's dismay. The ceremony takes place next week at Impact Wrestling, where the groom of Ray Tazz interrupts and reveals himself as a member of Aces & amp; Eight, which leads to the attacking group of Ray, Hulk Hogan, and the rest of the groomsmen. In the February 21 issue of Impact, after listening to Hogan's appeal, Hulk Hogan named Bully Ray the number one opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown. At this event, Bully Ray will turn his back on Hogan and TNA by revealing himself as President of Aces & amp; Eight. In the following episode of Impact , Bully Ray touting the fact that the public bought into his deceitful act all the time to gain the trust of Sting, Hogan, and Hulk Hogan as a way to get a chance to capture the TNA World Title. In October 2016, TMZ reported that Hogan formed a women's wrestling league called Princess Wrestling, along with Roddy Piper's daughter, Diamond Dallas Page, and Kerry Von Erich.
Personal life
Hogan is engaged to the Dallas Cowboys center, Phil Costa. The couple canceled their engagement in November 2013.
In 2015, his audio recording (and transcript) from his father Hulk Hogan allegedly made comments about him and his choice of friendship in 2006 became the center of controversy that resulted in his contract with WWE ending.
